For the first time in its history, NIKIN held a two-day team event. Last weekend, it was off to Emmental's local mountain, Lueg, with bag and baggage and lots of laughter. How the team found the excursion and why there was mini golf in the hotel room: we have all the info.
We set off by car on Friday morning. Some members of the 50-strong team* also travelled by public transport to the remote Country Inn Lueg. A somewhat sleepy team member was satisfied: "It works fine, the public transport goes right to the front door." On arrival, everyone was given coffee and croissants and then the day's programme began.
Loosening up exercise with the shoe
On the top floor of the hotel, we split up into groups and then had to do something unexpected: take off our shoes. When we were all standing there in socks and were each given a different shoe, we were told by Swen, the HR manager: "Now it's about finding the owner of the shoe." A different way of getting to know each other!
Workshops and good food
After the game of finding shoe owners, workshops on social media, finance, adds and much more awaited us. The aim was to better understand other departments and areas of responsibility. In between, there were breaks and snacks. Lunch and dinner were also provided. Of course, we feasted on multi-course menus, because NIKIN treats its employees. Mini golf in the hotel room
In the late afternoon, we were allowed to move into our rooms. I asked my work colleague Annabel what hers was like and she enthusiastically showed me the little mini-golf corner in her room on a video. Country inn and all that, who would have thought?
Nature and NIKIN: it always fits
On Saturday there was a day hike tocheese dairy on the programme. Luckily, the sun was shining and everyone enjoyed nature and being together. A successful team event, wasn't it? "For sure", agrees CEO Nicholas, " I'm already looking forward to the next one and a big thank you to our whole team, it was great!"
