Our new circular business model makes nature the main beneficiary
"Circular Cashback" - Return & earn
Order nowPlanting trees was just the beginning
We have been planting trees at NIKIN since the company was founded - and will continue to do so. But while the forests are growing, the mountains of textile waste are also getting bigger and bigger, which has long been a thorn in our side.
That's why we at NIKIN are now going one step further: with the innovative naNea material from OceanSafe, we have found a 100% circular material that can be recycled again and again without losing quality.
But what happens when clothing does end up in the bin? This is exactly where we at NIKIN come in: With the new "Circular Cashback" program, we buy back your worn circular TreeShirts and TreeHoodies. On the one hand, we pay you a fixed amount for the value of the material and on the other hand, you get more the longer you have worn the products. Together, we close the cycle and set an example for real sustainability in the fashion industry.
New Circular Collection
We'll take your clothes back yes, but we won't dispose of them for you, instead we'll bring them back into the cycle. That's because our TreeShirts Circular and TreeHoodies Circular are made from naNea, an innovative material from OceanSafe that can be recycled again and again in the same quality.
Order nowHow does our new "Circular Cashback" program work?
It's simple: as soon as your circular TreeShirt or circular TreeHoodie has been worn out, you can send the product back to us and we will pay you for it.
We will pay you 10 euros for the material of a TreeShirt. But that's not all: we also reward you for how well you have looked after the product and how long you have worn it. For every full year that you have used your TreeShirt, you will receive up to 2 euros extra - up to a maximum total of 10 euros over five years.
This means that you will be paid up to 20 euros for your TreeShirt. For the TreeHoodie, it's even up to 35 euros, of which 20 euros is for the material and up to 15 euros for wearing it for a long time. This keeps your garment in circulation and you benefit twice over.

naNea - The Swiss material innovation for true circularity
naNea is a Swiss innovation developed by Manuel Schweizer and the company OceanSafe. It is the world's first synthetic fiber to be awarded Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold certification.
The special thing about naNea is that it can be recycled repeatedly without any loss of quality. Should the material nevertheless end up in the environment, it is biodegradable. naNea has been proven to decompose in a marine environment within 99 days into over 93% natural components such as carbon dioxide, water and biomass in accordance with ASTM D 6691-17. No harmful microparticles or toxic substances are released in the process.
This innovative fiber therefore not only meets the highest environmental standards, but also actively contributes to reducing textile waste and supporting a sustainable circular economy.
Our path to 100% circularity by 2030
At NIKIN, we have set ourselves the goal of making all our products 100% circular by 2030 . Our mission is clear: to create clothing that does not harm nature - and the circular economy is the key to achieving this.
With the innovative naNea material, which is biodegradable and endlessly recyclable, as well as our "Circular Cashback" program, we ensure that our products remain in the cycle.
But this is just the beginning. Further exciting projects are already being planned to achieve our goals and protect nature together.
