The TreeHouse was built by the team and the community itself.
A lot of Swiss wood and Swiss products were used.
800 visitors celebrated the launch of our first flagship store with us.
15 NIKIN employees climbed over 600 floors together - and took a total of over 100,000 steps on the day of the opening.
More than 500 trees were planted - thanks to everyone who contributed!
15 real trees stood in front of the TreeHouse - they were brought back to the tree nursery after the opening.
Our office has received 7 new trees as a gift - they have now found a permanent place in the TreeHouse.

First insights into the NIKIN TreeHouse
Why a TreeHouse? Where did the idea come from?
It was always clear to us that it shouldn't just be a store and an enclosed office, but that the whole building should have a concept that fits in with NIKIN.
The aim was to create a creative space and an experience for customers and employees that stands out from the typical store and at the same time reflects NIKIN's brand values. That's why we ultimately came up with the idea of developing the building based on a tree house, or TreeHouse.
That's why a tree runs through the various floors and the TreeHouse will also have regular community events. We also wanted to bring at least a little bit of nature into the city and build a tree house in the middle of the city of Aarau.
