Together with over 30 other companies, we have 37'782 francs during the Green November 2021. The amount will go to local mountain forest projects. The first Green November is thus not only an idealistic idealistic, but also a tangible sign against excessive consumption.
The non-profit foundation Bergwaldprojekt from Switzerland and the German agency TreePlantingProjects are pleased about the donation. Both are committed to the reforestation, conservation and care of forests. "Normally we support projects worldwide with One Tree Planted, but we are very happy to support local actions in addition," explains NIKIN CEO Nicholas. During Green November, 1 franc or euro per order went to the campaign. The partner companies also donated either per self-selected variable or a one-off sum.
"Green" is a tradition at NIKIN
Green November is an extension of NIKIN's commitment against overconsumption. For the past three years, we have also had Green Friday instead of Black Friday in the same month. On this occasion, we donate two trees instead of one per order, in line with the motto "Green is the new Black". This year, on the Green Friday weekend 30'541 trees were planted!
