Joël Portner (@joe.tethar), 24 years old, lives for exercise and the outdoor life. Whether freeriding, ski touring, kitesurfing or road biking - Joël always finds a way to enjoy nature.and to challenge himself. "Nature gives me energy and balance, and NIKIN embodies exactly these values," he says.
"When I was 16, I went kitesurfing in Madagascar - an unforgettable experience, unfortunately also for my leg," Joël recalls with a laugh. After a spectacular landing, he was left with an open fracture of his tibia and fibula - and the whole thing was captured in crystal-clear 4K quality. But Joël wouldn't be himself if he had let that stop him.
No matter whether he is shopping or making his daily decisions, Joël takes sustainability seriously. "For me, sustainability means respecting the planet in such a way that future generations can also benefit from it." His support of brands like NIKIN is a conscious step towards being part of a positive change.
