OneTreePlanted - let's plant trees!

As you have probably already noticed, NIKIN consists of the idea of planting trees around the world. However, you may have jumped straight into NIKIN's offers without finding out exactly what this OneTreePlanted means and how NIKIN is related to it. To save you the trouble of doing your own research, I will simply introduce OneTreePlanted.

As you probably already know, NIKIN is about planting trees around the world. However, you may have jumped straight into NIKIN's offers (they are really great 😉 ) without finding out exactly what this OneTreePlanted means and how NIKIN is connected to it.
To save you the trouble of doing your own research, I'll simply introduce OneTreePlanted.

You can certainly already count yourself among the proud owners of a tree certificate. It is not for nothing that a certificate is sent to you together with the product you ordered. With the purchase of a NIKIN product, you are financing the planting of "your" tree. NIKIN does not plant the trees itself, but acts as an intermediary, whereby your help is indispensable (without financing, there would be little to transmit).

This is exactly the moment when OneTreePlanted comes into play! It is a not-for-profit organisation that helps to combat global deforestation by planting trees. OneTreePlanted is based in Vermont and already plants trees for one dollar per tree in North America, Latin America, Asia and Africa. The team consists of five people, with Matt Hill starting the organisation in 2014. Why? To make it easier for people to give a small part back to nature, which gives us so much.
The essential benefits of the tree that we all benefit from-and already listed in the last article-are another reason for the organisation's existence.
But if you think that OneTreePlanted is "only" about planting trees, you are wrong. In order to pass on the awareness of the benefits of trees to the next generation, OneTreePlanted works together with schools, whereby every school can participate. Students are given the chance to learn more about trees and deforestation, and to take part in the Tree Challenge (see onetreeplanted.org). However, if you have already left school and are not a teacher to participate in the challenge with the students, OneTreePlanted offers you a wonderful experience as a volunteer in Indonesia. Your tasks will include helping with reforestation, protecting endangered wildlife and supporting local communities.

See OneTreePlanted for yourself and visit their website! Maybe you too will soon be one of the volunteers who can inspire and motivate others with valuable experiences and additional knowledge to contribute to the protection of our environment!
