LIMITED COLLECTION: NIKIN x LAVATER ART
Creativity means connecting things! That's why NIKIN has teamed up with Swiss artist and illustrator Fabian Lavater for this limited edition collection. The passionate surfer from Basel loves to spend his free time at the Atlantic Ocean in the southwest of France, where he has also lived for some time and he not only lives out his hobby, but also gets inspired by nature for his art. He has immortalized this on a TreeShirt, a TreeShirt Longsleeve and a TreeBottle Glass.

TreeShirt Longsleeve Relaxed x Lavater Art
You can hang works of art on the wall - or wear them on your chest. Like the NIKIN TreeShirt Longsleeve Relaxed x Lavater Art, which we designed in collaboration with Swiss artist Fabian Lavater. On the front, the longsleeve bears the print "Mountain" as well as the artist's signature.
The NIKIN TreeShirt Longsleeve Relaxed x Lavater Art not only comes in a new cut, but also appears thicker through the use of the interlock fabric and thus feels smoother and softer.
TreeShirt Relaxed x Lavater Art
Creativity means connecting things. That's why we're teaming up with Swiss artist Fabian Lavater for the NIKIN x Lavater Art Limited Edition. Limited to 150 pieces, this NIKIN TreeShirt Relaxed x Lavater Art features a print of Fabian Lavater's "Surfer Girl" on the front, as well as his signature.
The use of interlock fabric makes the shirt appear thicker, but thanks to the closed surface, it is all the smoother and softer. A feat that gives every outfit that special something.

SHOP NOWAbout the artist: Fabian Lavater
Fabian Lavater is a Swiss artist and illustrator who draws most of his inspiration from surfing, the ocean, the mountains and everything Mother Nature has to offer. However, drawing was only a hobby for Fabian for a long time. It wasn't until he finished his master's degree in sustainable development with a focus on business and experienced an unsatisfying year in the professional world that he decided to make art his profession.
And just like drawing, surfing has stuck with him since his first wave ride. Not surprisingly, then, surfing plays an elemental role in Fabian's art. The themes of environment, nature and sustainability are not only reflected in his art, but also in the production of his prints or the choice of whom he wants to work with. So he also justified the collaboration with NIKIN with the fact that he likes to work with brands that really focus on sustainability and not just pretend.
"I want as many people as possible to identify with my art, so the motifs I choose for it, whether mountains, forests or beaches are always fictional. Everyone should make their own story when looking at them, after all the motif should trigger a feeling and not be associated with a specific place."
