LIMITED COLLECTION: NIKIN x LAVATER ART
Creativity means connecting things! That's why NIKIN has teamed up with Swiss artist and illustrator Fabian Lavater for this limited edition collection. The passionate surfer from Basel prefers to spend his free time on the Atlantic Ocean in the southwest of France, where he has also lived for some time and where he not only lives out his hobby, but also draws inspiration for his art from nature. He has immortalized this on a TreeShirt, a TreeShirt Longsleeve and a TreeBottle Glass.

TreeShirt Longsleeve Relaxed x Lavater Art
You can hang works of art on the wall - or wear them on your chest. Just like the NIKIN TreeShirt Longsleeve Relaxed x Lavater Art, which we designed in collaboration with Swiss artist Fabian Lavater. The longsleeve features the print "Mountain" and the artist's signature on the front.
The NIKIN TreeShirt Longsleeve Relaxed x Lavater Art not only comes in a new cut, but also looks thicker thanks to the use of interlock fabric, making it smoother and softer to the touch.

TreeShirt Relaxed x Lavater Art
Creativity means connecting things. That's why we're teaming up with Swiss artist Fabian Lavater for the NIKIN x Lavater Art Limited Edition. Limited to 150 pieces, this NIKIN TreeShirt Relaxed x Lavater Art features a print of Fabian Lavater's "Surfer Girl" and his signature on the front.
The use of interlock fabric makes the shirt look thicker, but the closed surface makes it all the smoother and softer. A feat that gives every outfit that special something.

SHOP NOWAbout the artist: Fabian Lavater
Fabian Lavater is a Swiss artist and illustrator who draws most of his inspiration from surfing, the ocean, the mountains and everything Mother Nature has to offer. However, for a long time, drawing was just a hobby for Fabian. It wasn't until he completed his master's degree in sustainable development with a focus on business and experienced an unsatisfactory year in the professional world that he decided to make art his profession.
And just like drawing, surfing hasn't let go of him since his first wave ride. It is therefore not surprising that surfing plays a fundamental role in Fabian's art. However, the themes of the environment, nature and sustainability are not only reflected in his art, they also have an influence on the production of his prints or the choice of who he wants to work with. For example, he explains his collaboration with NIKIN by saying that he likes to work with brands that really focus on sustainability and don't just pretend to.
"I want as many people as possible to be able to identify with my art, which is why the motifs I choose, whether mountains, forests or beaches, are always fictitious. Everyone should make up their own story when they see them; after all, the motif should trigger a feeling and not be associated with a specific place."
